Myth #3: Sex ed materials are “pornographic”

Ugh. How can we teach children about sexual development and health without talking about bodies? Many of us have endured the classes filled with awkward silence, especially when the teacher demonstrates how to put a condom on a banana (or a wooden penis in some cases).

Being uncomfortable is not the same thing as being victimized.
