Neurodiversified’s Mid-February Update & Welcome
Highlighting work by Neurodiversified’s writers
Happy… (belated) Mid-February?
I’m happily married and yet I still hate Valentine’s Day. I think it’s my neurodivergent brain’s hostility toward anything that seems arbitrary. I don’t like the idea that a significant majority of our population follows along with something simply because someone told them they should.
I particularly hate when this social obligation means spending a bunch of money on tacky crap that nobody’s ever going to use. I am fortunate that my boys (my son and husband) are very thoughtful with their gifts and always get something they feel I will both enjoy and also make use of.
Anyway, little rant aside, I won’t be sharing any stories hating on romance. Our stories, as always, focus on parenting, neurodiversity, and advocacy. ❤
