I have a funny story about my proprioception and fine motor skill issues.
It was a fine winter day in the province of Manitoba and I was in the passenger seat of my husband's car whilst he was driving (to where, I cannot recall).
His side-view mirror had quite a build-up of frost and ice due to the cold and humid temperatures (clearly not a very recent story, given the humidity) I think this was about 5 years ago, not that it matters, it could have been yesterday… except yesterday it was 30 degrees outside, but I digress…
When we stopped I said, "I'll get that for you!" I proceeded to very helpfully take out his snow brush with the scraper on the end of the handle...
I whacked that side-view mirror so hard that I cracked it...
...well, at least it wasn't frosted up anymore?
Heh.
Read all about why this happens and what it has to do with ADHD in my story in Invisible Illness, Clumsy, or is it ADHD?
